Courtney L. Faught (b. 1918, Jackson, Ohio-d. Sept. 14, 1991), U.S. Air Force officer, entered military service as an aviation cadet and received his commission and pilot wings in May 1942. During World War II, he served with the 41st Squadron in the Southwest Pacific, flying 121 combat missions. Howell Marion Estes, Jr. (b. 1914, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.-d. July 2, 2007), General in the U.S. Air Force, graduated from West Point in 1936 and completed pilot training in 1940.
